The Street Festival on our downtown main street is where every member of the family gets to pick what they want to do.
- Local and visiting organizations set up booths full of art, jewelry, crafts, food and information.
- There’s a “Norseman Express” children’s ride for those who aren’t ready to climb into an aircraft yet.
- There are activities which change every year but which might include such things as street hockey, float pumping, kids crafts, painting, science projects, Guitar Hero contests, model plane car and boat demos, wake boarding demonstrations, etc.
- And finally there is age and taste spanning stage entertainment, a “Show & Shine” interesting vehicles display, an annual Fish Fry and Pancake Breakfast, and a Fireworks display over the waters of Howey Bay.
- And, like every year, there will be some new ideas that make their way into the weekend’s activities. Keep checking the “News” section for info on these as they develop.
